Creation Method

There are two options for creating the Solid | Plane node.

  • The first way to create the Solid | Plane node is by using the search list, which is opened by double left-clicking in the workspace. You can write the name of the node you need, or words associated with this node.
    • cont
  • The second way is to select the Solid | Plane node from the menu that opens from the top left.
    • Menu > Tool > Intersection > Solid | Plane

Steps

  • Create the Solid | Plane node.
  • Connect the surface or solid geometry you want to intersect with to the first port labeled Shape.
  • Connect the base plane for intersection to the second port labeled Plane. By default, this is set to the XY plane.

After creating the node, connect the geometry you want to intersect to the first port. Connect the base plane for intersection to the second port. The output port will provide the resulting section curves.
